Once upon a time, Clutch and Magic 8 had a dream…

Seriously Clutch and Magic 8 had a passion for riding and meeting new people with the same passion to ride and explore new views in Florida. So, On June 27, 2007 they signed up on Meet-Up with a new club affectionately known as “SilverBacks”.

The SilverBacks first group ride was scheduled for Saturday, July 7, 2007 as the “Run/Meet & Greet”.  We had 9 bikes make the ride with us that day and met great new friends. We grew quickly and met MANY new friends. We realized we needed to offer our friends more, so we came off of meet up and now use our own website. We all now have better communication with each other and love the chat!

We are a riding club that loves to ride and meet new people. We have those that enjoy casual rides on occasion and we have our SilverBack members that are more like family.  We try to give everyone maximum opportunity to ride with and meet new people that have a passion for motorcycles. We have a mixture of male and female riders, couples and individuals. There are no stereotypes on the brand of bike you ride. If you are a stickler for a particular brand of bikes and look down on others, then we wish you the best on finding a club more suited for you. We enjoy having a good time, riding safe and hanging out at a more personal level.

There is no fee for membership. Participation in club activities is strictly voluntary.
Several SilverBacks attend bike night at Dick’s Wings every Thursday on the corner of San Jose and University. Call Clutch at 904-616-4639 if you ever want to ride up there with us or to have us look out for you. We also frequently attend bike night at Buffalo's on Youngerman Circle on Wednesdays.

If you have a ride you'd like to make and you'd like others to join you, just call or email us and we'll post your ride on the calendar.
